Thank you for your interest in contributing your artwork to quote and contract templates managed by Mosspaper (“We” or “Us”). This contributor agreement (“Agreement”) documents the rights granted by contributors to Us. This is a legally binding document, so please read it carefully before agreeing to it. The Agreement may cover more than one creative project managed by Us.
All Content on the Mosspaper website is protected by United States and international copyright laws and treaties. Mosspaper and/or the various artists who provide Content to Mosspaper ("Contributors") own all rights, including the copyrights in and to the Content.
1. Grant of Rights
1.1 Copyright License
(a) You retain ownership of the Copyright in Your Contribution and have the same rights to use or licence the Contribution which You would have had without entering into the Agreement.
(b) To the maximum extent permitted by the relevant law, You grant to Us a perpetual, non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, and fully sublicensable artwork to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, incorporate into other works, distribute, perform, display, and otherwise exploit such content, in whole or in part in any form, media or technology now known or later developed within the Mosspaper platform.
1.2 Our Rights.
You acknowledge that We are not obligated to use Your Contribution as part of the Material and may decide to include any Contribution We consider appropriate.
1.3 Creative Content
You agree not to submit inappropriate content. Inappropriate content includes any content that:
- infringes upon or violates the copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights of any person
- is libelous or defamatory
- is obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or vulgar
- violates a person’s right to privacy
- violates any local, state, national, or international law
- contains or advocates illegal or violent acts
- degrades others on the basis of gender, race, class, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other classification
- is predatory, hateful, or intended to intimidate or harass, or contains derogatory name-calling
- contains advertising
- contains a solicitation of any kind
- misrepresents your identity or affiliation
- impersonates others
- is in poor taste or is otherwise objectionable
For purposes of this Agreement, “Confidential Information” means any information, including but not limited to, science, formulas, patterns, compilations, programs, devices, methods, techniques and processes, financial information and data, business plans, business strategies, marketing plans, customer lists, price lists, cost information, information about employees, descriptions of inventions, process descriptions, descriptions of technical know-how, information and descriptions of new products and new product development, scientific and technical specifications and documentation, and pending or abandoned patent applications of a party, or other proprietary information now known or in possession of, or hereafter learned or acquired, that derives economic value, actual or potential, from not being generally known to, and not being readily ascertainable by proper means by other persons who can obtain economic value from its disclosure or use.
As a contributor, you will be expected to abide by Company rules and policies. In your work with the Company, you will be expected not to use or disclose any confidential information, including trade secrets, of any former employer or other person to whom you have an obligation of confidentiality. Rather, you will be expected to use only that information which is generally known and used by persons with training and experience comparable to your own, which is common in the industry or otherwise legally in the public domain, or which is otherwise provided or developed by the Company.
You confirm that:
(a) You have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement.
(b) You own the Copyright and creative material covering the Contribution which are required to grant the rights under Section 1.
(c) You agree that you are fully responsible for the content that you submit into Mosspaper.
(d) You agree to keep all Mosspaper’s information confidential. Confidential information may be written or oral, expressed in electronic media or otherwise disclosed, and may be tangible or intangible.
(e) Mosspaper will pay you commission where your artwork is used by a customer currently on a paid plan. The commission rate is 10% of the customer’s monthly or annual subscription. One time payment for each customer.
